To start off, hooray for upgrades! I hooked up the new SSD and video cards with the help of a friendly tech successfully, and well, you can already see the difference just from work amount this month.
Interestingly enough, the biggest boost has definitely been adding the SSD hard drive over a regular mechanical one. While the new 1080 TIs do add quite a good boost to rendering power, they only amount to about a 30% boost in render speeds when benchmarked. Of course, when you factor in a month's worth of rendering everyday, that 30% adds up to quite a lot of hours!
However, the SSD seems to have quadrupled render speeds in some events, which logically enough it makes sense. Considering a failing hard drive that's probably writing at subpar speeds, having an SSD that can keep up with the render speed provided from the video cards made me realize just how throttled production was getting just from the fact the old hard drive just could not process the render date fast enough.
This month, stuff got pretty fun with continuing Jessica's set. I think it's the highlight of this month, although I did really enjoy bringing back Aimee (and maybe setting up a new set? We'll see!). On the lighter side, I also had a bit of fun with Dyna pretty much disrupting a yoga class by distracting the hell out of her instructor :D as well as some more pinup ish pieces with Becky.
So, for this coming month, I'm going to be setting up the polls and get the ball rolling on the new girl all of you will have a hand in transforming and dictating her (hopefully twisted) future. Also, as done before, you'll be able to vote on what large sets I'll be focusing on next (as well as which girls you want to see more of in general). Additionally, I think it's time to give the ole' patreon page a little bit of a facelift, so I'll be dedicating some time to some promo images too, so probably time for some new group shots!
Also, on the topic of monthly custom idea submissions, I only got two submissions this month, so I'll be producing one of them this coming month. Considering this has been a bit of a trend for the last few months with very few/no submissions, I think I may be putting this goal to rest in favor of giving the new transformation stuff more room to breathe. It'll depend how stuff goes :)
On other real life notes, I'd really like to thank you all for your support, since it's basically allowed me to grow the production up to this point. Also, on a more personal note, it's helped me a lot this month, since my pup was afflicted with a generalized infection from apparently out of nowhere that messed him up pretty bad and triggered initial stages of meningitis, and vet bills went through the roof (to this day, even though the dog is back to his usual happy self, the vet still isn't sure what happened to him for him to get sick in the first place). Thankfully, I have health insurance for the pup (if you have a pet, I'd highly recommend looking into the different options here if you're in the US, it can mean the difference between breaking the bank, or in a really dire circumstance, losing your companion), so that helped a lot, but times like these really make me extra grateful to have people like you that sponsor the work being made!
So with that, I'm signing off for the night. Thanks everyone once more for all your support, I hope you really enjoy this month's set of work.
Here's looking forward to June!
