Yes, there has been several versions of her story. The one above is an abbreviated version of just one of them. Trivia: Grigbertz and I did a small set of RPG sessions in the Magic Rings universe, before restarting from scratch with the Chain Girls saga.

The other blonde tied-up girl seen in the sketches was about to be sacrificed by some cultists when Jehanne came on the scene and drove them off. The girl had been tied by some sticky goo which couldn't safely be cut with a sharp tool. Jehanne carried her home and stayed the night. The next day she went shopping for some magic solvent.
