A long, long time ago... season five concluded with a time traveling adventure that I was not ready for. Now that all of the time traveling has been sorted out, I return to the present only to find out that I overshot the last jump and put myself a month ahead of where I left off...That's why this video took so long to make. Not at all that I took a two week vacation after "The Mane Attraction" and then had to do an incredible amount of photoshop, casting, writing and an obscene amount of editing during the holiday season. Yep.

A question I had while watching the episode - if the Elements of Harmony weren't around to stop Nightmare Moon (who I'm certain would have come back at the same time anyway, along with the others) then why wasn't there just one alternate timeline where all of the super-villains came back as some kind of ponified Sinister Six as I've been calling it.

But I guess Zecora explained it with her "cascade of effects downstream" line. I've head-canoned that the "wasteland" timeline (as most people are calling it) was, in fact, that reality. But one question remains...how in the heck did the Flimflams come out on top ever?
