While Pinkie Pie and the Apple family are giving us the long-awaited extended trip to the rock farm - I took a page from the Pie family's book on the Hearth's Warming dolls. However, my family was none too impressed. Perhaps I should just let people have their own traditions and stick to mine. Or maybe get a smaller stone block.

While I'm definitely feeling the moral of this episode and I enjoyed the characters of the Pie family; some of the smaller details are throwing me off.

I have a few questions. Can someone please explain to me how the rock family actually eats rocks? I guess the whole Pie family is strange in a way but at least the things that Pinkie ingests are inherently edible. Why do Igneous Rock and Cloudy Quartz have separate beds?

I'm sure there's others. Goofy is fun but if you get too goofy, you'll miss things like that while writing.
