Twice now someone has disputed a charge with PayPal over purchasing a product from our Payhip store. The first time Payhip was no help, even when I asked how I could ban the PayPal account from ever being used to buy products again (I was told that this was not a feature they had nor were they planning to implement, even though it seems like it's a very logical one to have for an online store that uses PayPal for its payments).

Now there's been a second dispute, from a month ago, and this time the PayPal account does not match any customer information on Payhip. And now Payhip refuses to assist me in giving me data to provide to PayPal in order to support that the account holder was the one who purchased the item, because I cannot email them from the account signed up for Payhip. See, the account used is a forward, so that I don't have to keep logging into different accounts to get email. And I've been contacting them through their web interface to get assistance, but they insist that I must email them directly from the account that is used to sign into Payhip. Just like before, a reasonable way to confirm an identity is to send a token to the email address for the person to click on to confirm their identity, but Payhip once again does not comprehend how to implement features that would be necessary for proper business.

So we're going to start migrating our products off Payhip, direct purchases over to Amazon and Itch, and stop bothering with Payhip. And if anyone else has been contemplating using Payhip, don't. They don't do enough to protect stores against PayPal issues and they don't have decent customer service.

Sorry to hear that. Never used them, only familiar with Itch.
