I'd be pretty new with whole terminology, but that would mean it's canon. Which is not an intention here. I guess 'official' is used for fanciness.

Not sure it's possible with the code, but would have loved the ability to bind individual flavor text for each slave written by ourselves similar to Elona's companion dialogue, or Galactic Civilization 3's diplomacy dialogue. Would add a bit more emotional weight for some personal touch to each character.

Anything is possible, since game is open source. If you just want additional text to descriptions, you can do it in customization tab. If you mean talk dialogue, will have to get craftier though.
