Sex system
We are only half-way through with adding actions at best, but it's not exactly what I want to bring up. By original plans new system should also feature item usage (like wearing strap-on or using aphrodisiac during the sequence). Not only that, but I also want to utilize it in a way to build relationship. Instead of praising or making gifts you would be able to have simple commands, lead on dates and so on. This will probably make existing dialogue system suboptimal, but not much else we can do.
I hope to collect feedback relating new system soon, so we could work on adjustments (like make some sort of energy meter for participants perhaps).
Resolution
Current resolution problem is generally a mistake I acknowledge. It's not as severe as it was when we only had 1080x600 window, but full hd resolution have it pretty bad. Originally I had little idea how to work with resolution at all and if I had a chance to go back I'd just make default size full hd and downscale it from there. Except my monitor also does not support full hd, but I guess that's hardly an excuse now.
I had lots of various problems with fitting all of the information onto the screen in current state, hence why I did regret it number of times, but redoing every window to another resolution is a fairly off-putting thought. I work on it if demand is there or when I get more important things done.
Next step
As you remember, I did plan to finally wrap up main quest line. Right now it's not quite settled as I plan to polish new sex system and added couple new pieces to exploration and combat (and maybe some minor gui reworks). So... this is a plan for next update: combat/exploration bits, sex additions, balance, perhaps more work with the main story. Unless I decide to finish the story right there, it should be up fairly soon.
Also Cali's sprite is getting a rework and in the end might look somewhat different from her current visual. Perhaps I'll keep both visual options around.
Oh, yeah. It appeared to me we have been featured in Kotaku's article, which is quite nice and unexpected. I want to greet and thank all of the new people coming around in last days.
