As you might have noticed, skills are gone and things have changed drastically. What's next?

So, basically now we only have 2 important things to keep in mind: mental stats and physical stats. Skillpoints, leveling and some parts of stat system is not really polished hence why I mentioned it in previous post, so what I plan to do about it now?

Firstly, I want to mention, skills are not entirely gone. I'll be adding new things to replace them: Specialisation. It will be more like a trait/perk you can pick up. For example, 'Bodyguard' specialisation would improve slave's physical performance and combat, while something like 'Hunter' would improve wilderness related jobs and scouting. I'm currently not fully sure how unlocking and specializing will be going, but I think such specializations will add quite a lot of flavour to the slaves.

Secondly, I did mention about new caste requirement system previously, but I'm planning to make stats also correspond to that. Namely, I want to limit stat potential for the slaves with lowest requirements or somehow else to tweak on it. You might noticed that some of the actions won't increase mental stats anymore. Basically, since mental stats are quite important for performance, I plan to give it some more limits, but I'm not quite sure that roof like "slave caste can't raise any stat above 55" is the right approach, at least that boldly. Hopefully next version I'll be able to sort out caste system. Speaking of which, I plan to work on the main screen (and menu) in the next patch so hopefully UI will get better.

Thirdly, skillpoint system will probably face lots of rebalances. I can't really keep it in check with older versions (especially maxed out slaves after using oblivions potions and such), so I'll have to leave balancing of old saves on the user's trust.

tl;dr there's still lots of changes incoming, stay tuned.

Q&A reply will come tomorrow.

One potential option I would like to see would be an option to educate children, perhaps with a commensurate gold cost, that would allow them to have an origin other than 'slave'. Like raise a child with a normal education, they end up common, a very good education might get a noble, or something inbetween noble and common, since noble tends to be bloodline related. Or a way to treat your charges as slaves, servants, or indentures? With coresponding attitudes and free will? Yeah I went too long and too much with this. Just some questions or suggestions. Thanks for the awesome game. Also I feel that without skills we are missing a major money sink, As it gets to be pretty easy to make serious dosh.

Yes, I'll be addressing most of it in next updates. Thank you :)

Looking forward to seeing where all this leads! I do have a small suggestion: Now that it's very easy to tire slaves out, it would be nice if they go back to their assigned job once they have their energy back.
