So love seeing an NXT UK match getting some Wrestle Me love. I've had a big soft spot for NXT UK since the first tournament, and haven't missed a live Takeover. It's always hard though - from being a BritWres scene killer, through SpeakingOut to now I don't feel proud of loving NXT UK always - but I guess it's exactly what I wish existed when I was a teen, something that gave a clearer path to the dream of becoming a wrestler. I think it's also got an especially significant place now that it was decided to KEEP it going - I really hope it'll continue to run. It's not perfect, it has repercussions but it's genuinely amazing to me sometimes to think I've lived to see the day where the WWE has an official UK product, that by and large, they allow to represent another side of wrestling. I'll never forget that first UK Title Tournament - and NEVER forget that Bate VS. Dunne US Takeoever match where a US crowd starting chanting UK, UK, UK. But also, Illya def looks a bit like Pete - am I the only one to see it?
