You did mention it I know. But deserves even more attention that Starrcade was their Wrestlemania and they did this to it. Like, if you really want to do this, do it as a special PPV or something. And they did that awful tournament format before this. The mind boggles at the stupidity.

Randomly this show appeared on my youtube suggestions recently, so obviously I have watched it about 3 or 4 times.. I remember having this on VHS and thinking the concept was awesome (think I even got excited when the Freebirds matched up) - time may not have proved me right :)
