Davis downloaded an app that was supposed to show you what you'd look like as a fantasy creature. You could be all kinds of things: an ogre, a dragon, an elf, even a mermaid. Davis picked mermaid on a whim, but in a flash he found himself actually transformed into a girl with a silver fishtail! Even his apartment had been given a mermaid makeover, with fishy decor and sparkly little things all over.

He immediately called the makers of the app, but the rep he spoke to informed him that the TOS spelled out quite clearly that all magical transformations were permanent and the company could not be held responsible for any problems due to feminization or loss of legs.

"Hey," the rep said before she hung up, "at least you didn't pick dragon, huh?"
