This is a preview panel of chapter 3, page 84 - a "before" shot with just base shading and an after shot with finished art.  I discovered that Kyle's Real Watercolor Photoshop brush set is really fun for doing water damage and grungy textures.  Aside from basic light and shading, all the painted textures in this panel were done with a few brushes from the watercolor set:

Stain Damp Paper - this was for the discoloration on the walls and ceiling

Magic WC Larger - same as above, but a more subtle effect

Texture 80 Wet Edge - I used this for the puddles and water stains with more defined edges.

Spatter Spread - for the dark spatters on the walls. I also put in some light spatters here and there for a bit of larger concrete texture.

Sparse Bristle - These are the rough white streaks you see on the corner of the concrete divider wall and also on the pillars.

Big Wash - I used this for the soot on Jordana and Pangolin in the flashback panel.  I also used it for the smoke on the previous page (page 83).

These brushes aren't free, but they're professional quality and, for my purposes, worth the price.  You can find them here:

https://www.kylebrush.com/ ("Kyle's Ultimate Real Watercolors" - but the Megapack is also awesome, as are the spatter brushes.  And I just bought the rake brushes today for an upcoming project but haven't tried them yet.)

And no, this isn't a paid endorsement; I'm just sharing because I love these brushes and thought they were super useful for this particular page. ^_^
