First video of the DOTU-themed game! (Patreon)

If you didn't know, I've been working on a DOTU-themed visual novel called Cooking with Belmont! At last, I'm sharing our first public in-game video!

Merritt’s promised to deliver a mind-blowing dinner party for his friend Pogo’s birthday. All he has to do is keep disaster boyfriend Belmont out of the kitchen. Sounds easy enough. But what if cooking with Belmont could make his meal, and his night, even better? Will he take the risk? Good food or bad, it’ll be a night to remember.

The game features Merritt, Belmont, Pogo, and Samsid!  Oh, and Annie and Charles!

It takes place in a theoretical future after DOTU - you can decide for yourself whether it's canon, haha. There are three paths to choose from, and two outcomes for each.  As I like to say, there are no bad endings, only bad cooking! (The bad outcomes are my favorites. ^_^)

Since this is my first game, I can't confidently predict a release date yet, but I do have most of the art done and the first 15 minutes programmed, with probably about an hour's play time for each path. Programming goes fast; it's the art that takes the most time.  It'll probably take a few more months to finish, but I'll share progress updates along the way!

Secret Gallery patrons have already gotten a bunch of process blogs and will continue to get them. (They're posted to the miscellaneous album of the Secret Gallery, on the DOTU website.) So that's the place to be if you want to see all the art and process, and a few spoilers here and there. And all patrons will get the game free when it's done!
