Ch04P70 Pencils - Timelapse Video (Patreon)

I was going to share two timelapse videos, but the truth is the other one (page 69) was mostly a little tedious to watch. XD  It was a lot of buildings in perspective, which is pretty similar to the last timelapse video I shared.  This one has more organic stuff in it, so it's a little more fun to watch.  (And of course you can set the speed to 2x if it's still too slow.)

Highlights include lots of random scribbles because my stylus was malfunctioning, and me having a hell of a time with panel 3.  Sometimes a panel just doesn't click with you.

If you're wondering why I suddenly decided in the end to rotate panel 3, it's because the edge of Gray's face was parallel to the edge of the panel, and that's the sort of thing that can look really bad, design-wise.  It's kind of sad because I preferred the looming quality of the first position.  But eh, you gotta make choices.

One of my favorite techniques for when I'm feeling especially rusty, dizzy, or otherwise impaired is use a huge chunky brush to block stuff in.  The hardest part of drawing for me is putting anything on a blank page, so the big chunky scribble gives a good template for me to work from.
