Special Offer! DOTU Free Enamel Pin and More! (Patreon)

And as promised, I have some exciting stuff planned as thanks to everyone for supporting DOTU through its hibernation!

SPECIAL OFFER: Limited Edition DOTU Enamel Pin with Signed Backing Card!

Patreon has a new beta feature called Special Offers which allows creators to give limited time rewards to patrons in specific tiers.  I wanted to do a pin, and the Secret Gallery+ tiers voted on their favorite design.  See concept art above.  As we speak, it's with the manufacturer being made!

The pin is 42mm x 42mm (about 1.625"), metal with hard enamel and rose gold plating.  It has two posts and a backstamp with the DOTU logo and year.  The backing card will be designed and printed after I receive the pins from the manufacturer in early to mid-June.  It'll include the DOTU logo, the name of the pin, and some pretty DOTU-themed designs.  Oh, and it'll be signed by me.

The Special Offer runs till May 25.  All processed patrons in the following tiers on May 25 will get the pin reward: (see notes below for details)

• Secret Gallery Tier ($10.01)
• Sketch Tier ($10 - this tier is unlisted, but you WILL get the reward!)
• Sketch+Secret Gallery Tier ($20)
• Ad Sponsor Tier ($35)
• Custom Card Tier ($50)

If you're in a lower tier and you want the pin, pledge to the Secret Gallery Tier or the Ad Sponsor Tier. (the others are sold out.)  See below for info about pin availability outside these tiers.

The Special Offer is assigned by reward tier, not by the dollar amount of your pledge. You need to be in one of the above 5 tiers to get in on the pin reward, even if you're in another tier and pledging a higher amount.

Here's all the details:

• US patrons in eligible tiers: You'll get one pin with signed backing card FREE, with free shipping!
• International patrons in eligible tiers: [UPDATE] We've met the milestone goal, so International patrons ALSO get one pin with signed backing card FREE, with free shipping!
• Patrons in eligible tiers who get Pogo's letters by email: You'll get the pin as stated above as long as you provided your shipping address with your pledge.  If you DON'T want the pin, message me and tell me, or remove your shipping address from your pledge.  If you didn't include your address and you DO want the pin, see the next item:
• Patrons who have not provided their address: You'll need to edit your pledge to include your shipping address with your legal name if you want to get the pin.  You can remove it again after the pins are delivered.  If you clicked a box on Patreon saying to "opt out of physical rewards," you'll need to opt back in to get the pin.
• Patrons in "No Reward" tier: I'm assuming you're in this tier because you don't want any rewards. :)  You'll need to switch into an eligible reward tier to get a pin.  You can switch back out after May 25.
• Patrons in all other tiers:  Any remaining pins after the special offer will go for sale to patrons only, with unsigned backing cards.  If they don't sell out, the rest will go for sale to the public.  This is a limited edition design; once it sells out, it won't be remade.  You are welcome to upgrade to a Special Offer tier to guarantee a pin with a signed backing card, but if you know that a $10.01+ monthly pledge is out of your range, sit tight and I promise the pin will be offered for sale to the lower tiers later.

ALL processed patrons in all reward tiers when DOTU goes public will be credited and thanked on the DOTU site for supporting the comic through its hibernation!  Details coming soon.  Don't worry - I won't post anyone's names without permission.  I'll send out a form after the comic goes public, and you'll be credited anonymously unless you provide your preferred name on the form.

3. Early Access!

- (already announced) All patrons who pledge to any reward tier by May 25 and stay through public release will keep early access when the comic returns to the public!  Early access for new patrons will be $5 after May 25.

4. Merritt's Story Book 1 Finale Chapters

-$2+ patrons no longer have to use the request form to get the finale chapters from Merritt's Story book 1!  You can now reach them straight from the table of contents!
