Lil Recap before the next page! (Patreon)

The page I'm about to post refers to a few past events, and with webcomic pacing the way it is - and DOTU on a reduced schedule - I thought a recap would be a good idea, seeing as these pages are now several years old. :O

When we first met Merritt in chapter 2, Samsid charged him with taking care of Pogo and keeping him out of trouble.

At the start of chapter 3, we saw a West Sphere invasion.  The Elite Squad used Jordana's Operation Flying Squirrel to defeat the invaders, and at the end of the battle, Samsid gave Pogo a "project." (above)

Pogo went home with Merritt after the battle, and they had this conversation about the mark on Pogo's back:

And then Merritt did indeed hop on over to the North Sphere to track down his old books.  After he returned to the East Sphere with a book that seemed to reference Pogo's mark, this happened:

And then the next day, Merritt told Archer about how he was no longer tasked with watching Pogo:
