Patreon and it's new billing system (Patreon)

What do you think? People don't seem to be very happy about this, especially since it punishes pledging small sums to lots of people. 

I get that Patreon needs to make money to stay in business, but it doesn't seem like they're prioritizing serving its users first. So it seems to me like a move made out of greed to just get a bigger cut. Maybe they're in need financially? I donno.

With these changes though, it becomes harder for people to pledge small sums to blogs like mine that don't really hand out any rewards or encourage people to pledge more. I'm not sure if I should add rewards like that myself. I think you've seen already my uploads can be very sporadic, and I wouldn't want to disappoint people when they actually put money behind it. What do you think?
