Studies I did today before working with a commission! Wanting to learn and improve on drawing birds so I started with the head and beak. Might try full bodies eventually, though I might go for gryphons or/and anthro birds for that instead.

You're looking to improve? You are. Keep doing these when time and energy permit. You have such a wonderful talent with your artwork, it would be a beautiful thing to witness you expand into a variety of species and subjects, with your own unique touch. Don't kick yourself down if they do not turn out the way you intended. Over time, you will master it but one thing you won't be able to really push will be your unique style. Every artist has one, something that is...a trademark of their work. Some people can witness a piece and immediately say "oh that's X's" art as an example. That isn't a bad thing in of itself, sometimes that publicity is what you need to draw even more of an audience but most importantly, your own determination to master your craft. The validation, admiration and affection your fans will give you.
