Hey everyone, here's what's new on Forbidden Arms alpha 1.6:

----------WORLD MAP----------

The new world map system is now on its working state. I will later repopulate this with events and maybe a few minor towns.

Right now, I just made sure it worked, but there's only one place you can access from the map at the moment. Aside from that, enemies will be roaming and intercept you. Depending on the distance between the encounter and the town, the enemies will increase in numbers. If the encounter happens with other enemies near by, it will also increase.

----------Stabby stabby heart----------

Mayumi can now suppress the sword's curse by stabbing it to her heart. In this state, she can explore towns and locations with no worries. She can then unleash the power anytime she encounters battle.

Animation cancelling: Aside from the front and back step evasion, you can now tap down after any action to reset back to the Idle state and restart a new combo or desired attack.

----------THE SLUMS----------

The year is 2,226 and demons have taken over the world. Mahalai's tower's vicinity offered protection from the demons and monsters, so whatever is left of humanity stayed here. With no where to go and chance to improve, their living conditions have remained stale.

This is a work in progress. there will be more houses, locations and NPC's that Mayumi can interact with along with the brothel.

For now, you can access two houses that can execute the SEX SCENE function.

So, yes, the Sex scene animation player will now function. Coded the player from scratch to play alongside Godot's. All I need to do now is add the assets. There is ONE sample here to test it, but it has no sound at the moment, but they're already working. Once the VA submits the moans, I'll add them there and it will work.

This JUNE, I will be editing the sex scenes to be finally be in game. I aim for about 8+ complete scenes. They are all .png sequences and can be a pain in the ass to work with... but, i'll endure it like a bad analogy.

MINI GAME!!!!

So I added a minigame. Again, sex scenes here are activated from brothels. You pay a fee and the selected scene plays, Mayumi will then gain temporary buffs to aid her in battle.

The MINIGAME, however will let you pay double the fee's amount. If you score well enough... you get better buffs, rare items and permanent stat buffs!

Go to the house and play the mini game! It has bare mechanics and will be improved later on.

----------CONTROLLER VIBRATOR SUPPORT---------

I meant vibration. It's also added and every sword slash feels sick now! If you don't like it, just turn the screen shake to below 100% and it won't activate.

--------------DIVINE ARMS NEWS--------------

There's not much done with Divine Arms at the moment because I really want to finish the core elements for Forbidden Arms. As soon as the sex scenes and boss gets done for FA, I will go full nelson with DA. For now, here's the prototype i managed to finish somehow. It has enemies and navigation so they chase when detect you, but there's no hitboxes yet. I know its not much but that took a week to do as that's my custom AI from flash making it work with Godot's navigation system.

Anyway, long story short, because of covid, the company she works on is no more and have been having a hard time finding the same kind of work.

So I convinced her to just practice and draw again and take commissions.

But since this is also the first time she's worked digitally, it was a bit a struggle to shake off the rust. She's been practicing for a couple of months now and I'm surprised she'll do lewd art.

So to get her confident on getting commissions, I had an Idea of letting her take requests from patrons!!! That way she'll improve and at the same time have some extra rewards for you guys.

I will work with her on how many requests she can do, colors and sketches every month, and announce it in the first week of June.
