Hey everyone! 1st Dev Blog is up! Apologies for the bad english, but let's hope I get good with a mic next vid.
Anyway, been busy porting the game from flash to godot, still. And we're almost close to getting everything functioning! If you have not seen the dev blog yet, here's the current stress test:
Flash: 8 enemies, 200 blood particles, 30 fps capped, jpeg artifacts, 720p.
Godot: 100 enemies, 800-1200 blood particles, 60 fps, lossless png, 1080p.
Clear winner, eh? Check the vid above to see it in action.
The vid version btw runs at 720p but it's as fast on 1080p. I just had to shrink it so it fits the youtube recording.
Anyway, I have exciting news!
We found a publisher for Forbidden Arms for Nintendo Switch!!
Of course, that version is going to be SFW just like having two separate demos, but the NSFW version will still be Patron exclusive for the PC.
It's been a great month trying to secure this deal. Granted, this pandemic made it hard to travel to the publisher's office, but I go a glimpse of the dev kit and I fucking hope I'll be competent enough to handle the SDK. (If not, someone inhouse will do it, but it seem easy enough when I quick viewed)
Anyway, I was completely engaged with the porting and the switch deal took most of the time of November so I really have no godot converted lewds to show this month.
I'll do some next time as soon as I get a lot of stuff ported, but we're steadily going well with the port considering I just started Godot some few months ago.
