Swinging commenced, endorphins released

[γδ(αμ)]

There's no age limit for swinging! It's incredibly enjoyable, calming, and great for your health as it engages most of the posture-supporting muscles in your body to keep you sitting upright and stable while in the moving swing chair. It's also a very low-impact exercise for your major loadbearing joints like the knees, elbows, and shoulders that are prone to repetitive stress injuries and don't heal very well after long-term high-impact exercise and repetitive motions. For people with artificial joint replacements, like total hip replacements and knee replacements, and people with severed limb prosthetics or osteoporosis, swinging is a great low-impact exercise option to preserve artificial joints and keep the sensitive tissues where prosthetic limbs attach to the body from bruising and sores. Swinging should be considered a great supplemental low-impact, fun, mood-enhancing, mild outdoor exercise that pairs well with other low-impact, joint-preserving exercises including swimming, bicycling, yoga, calisthenics, hiking, and tai-chi. It's unfortunate that most people in modern society scoff at the idea of an adult enjoying a nice swinging session or find it strange or somehow inappropriate. It would be nice if parks included adult swinging areas separate from children's swinging areas so passers by wouldn't be creeped out by an adult swinging next to children who aren't theirs. Adult swing acceptance should become a new online movement! Liberate the swing for adults, let us smile as we swing higher and higher! Long live the swing! ✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏻🤟🏻
