Leto arrived alone at Shola’s front door almost twelve hours after Epona promised she’d be there, carrying, well, lots of books. She had to ring the bell three times before a pissed  Shola opened the door, only to close it again after seeing her friend’s face, except Leto’s worn-out sneaker prevented her from doing so. “What?” Shola asked her. They were silent for a while.

“I won’t lie, I feel responsible for everything. Guilty. I feel guilty.” Leto said, avoiding Shola’s eyes, but that didn’t stop Shola from asking more questions, or from reminding Leto and Epona – who wasn’t even there to address them in the first place – that those books were important for her research.

“How do you girls expect me to be around if everything is so one-sided? It’s like you invited me to your private little party and I’m the one always postponing, cancelling appointments, procrastinating. Sometimes I hate it that I like hanging out with you guys so much.”

Leto had tears in her eyes. She said she didn’t know Epona would invite Shola the night before, but she loved it even more when she realized the sleepover had become a slumber party. “I wanted to be with her, and only her, for a moment, and I was selfish this morning when I invited her to grab something to eat at the bakery. When I got home, I saw the list you had given her, and, well, they’re all here.” Shola realized Leto was pulling a small book cart packed with books. Her books. From Agrippa to Zeno, and all the other letters in between, they were all there. “Now the cute librarian lady hates me as well… And they didn’t have the one on Hypatia, so I bought this one on my way here.” Leto said, pulled her worn-out sneaker, failed to smile, and then left.

Shola looked at her friend as she walked down the building stairs, but she yelled her name from the hallway, before it was too late. Leto stopped. Shola was hesitant as Leto’s bright, yellow eyes stared at her. “I work at the fetish club”, she said, finally. “And it’s not just for the money. I like it. No. I love it. And this is the first time I tell someone about this." Leto smiled, a shy, yet honest smile. "So, do you want to come inside and let me spill the tea?”

Hello there, fellow futa lovers!

March is here! I’ve been juggling with two sketches for our Roll the Dice #05 painting, one morning painting with Leto and Epona, and this one, the night painting of Shola and Leto. For some obscure reason I was more excited to show you guys this one first (I’ll just shamelessly blame my intuition here), but now my mind is going back to the morning scene, which should be done by the end of March and will become our April main painting… Oh, happy days!

Thank you all so much for the excitement, love, and support!

Enjoy!
