Hello, hello, fellow futa lovers!

December is here! 2021 is almost over! Did this year go by quickly for you as well? That’s how it felt over here, but so much has happened this year as well, so I think I stumbled upon a paradox of sorts. When it comes to painting and drawing technique, I think the main thing I’ve practiced this year was how to group values inside shapes. It’s not a new concept, it’s easier said than done, and it doesn’t even sound exciting, but I’m slowly learning how to think less in terms of anatomy and more in terms of shapes of value and color, which is a true game changer. If we add edge control to that, we have a very interesting set of elements that can convey a sense of realism. It would be way easier if I could find a nice photo reference of a real cecaelia futa and a dolphin futa having fun together, of course, but no one said it would be easy (LOL).

I have plans to post again before the holidays, but for those of you who might travel and will only check future updates in 2022, happy holidays and a wonderful new year to us all!
