Hello there, fellow futa lovers!

Oh my… Indulgence. What can I say about this month’s extra painting? Well, indulgence changed everything, really. I was playing Farming Simulator, frugally harvesting some crops, when I received Kyropracter’s email. He had two characters that he wanted to introduce, Sheree, our posh futanari businesswoman, and Livia, her lively, fun-loving friend. This is their debut, but this painting wasn’t primarily focused on figure drawing, their clothes, or faces, as it usually is the case in erotica art, I mean, it was also about that, of course, but here the hotel room itself is a character in its own right. For the first time the task at hand was to tell a story through the room, through its objects, angles, and atmosphere, because Sheree and Livia are everywhere here, from the city that welcomed them, the food they chose to eat, and the spirits they’ve allowed themselves to drink to the jewelry they could afford, the gifts, the opulence of it all… But (and this is an important but) it’s also much more than that. It’s about all the pleasure they can give one another, and the bliss, and the gratitude that comes with it, no matter how fleeting everything is. By the end of it, I was happy. It’s a celebration. To me, at least, it is. Let’s celebrate! =^_____^=

Whew… This was, and still is, one of the toughest challenges I’ve had as an artist, for trying to bring together so many elements, managing to balance so many lights and colors (as well as the interactions between them), everything tied together within a three-point perspective grid, not to mention the patterns, the textures, the materials… At some point I felt like I was somewhere in between 2D and 3D art, but an instant later it seemed to require all my traditional painting experience with still-life. In fact, after Indulgence I learned some modelling skills on Blender (which became such a useful designing tool in my workflow later on), and I also got some good books/articles/videos on still-life painting with oils, mostly to work on my understanding of values and brushwork. I always learn something entirely new after I finish a painting, but boy, oh boy, this one gave me a collection of invaluable lessons. Thanks, Kyro! =^____^=

Also, thank you all so much for your love and support!

Cheers!

p.s.: this is an extra painting, an early access submission. I’ll post it at Hentai-Foundry, Twitter, etc. in a couple of days. Since this was a commission painting, I won't post its RIF file.
