[Extra] Mermaid Tallulah (Patreon)

Hello, hello! Quaraci here! =^____^=

Do you guys remember the only sketch so far that didn't get a final version? Well, it took me a while to focus on this one, but here it is. #wheeew #yaaaay I admit I thought about giving up on this painting, 'cause I always seemed to find something really off putting when I finally thought I was making some progress. Looking back at the sketch now I understand why that is the case: it was way too rough when I posted it, and I had to work twice, maybe three times as hard in order to fix it. I guess I'm happy with it now, but I learned (the hard way, for sure) that drawing and structure must come first. I was impulsive, I started painting before the drawing was complete, and that almost made us lose the entire piece, and its idea, along with it. #learningcurves

I've been getting some really nice feedback, here and at social media such as Fur Affinity, on characters that fall on the anthro spectrum (such as this Epona), so I'll probably explore those themes a little bit further. I hope you guys like it too! =^_____^=
