Based on one of our latest poll results I've been challenging myself and experimenting with the whole anthro~furry aesthetic. It's easy to fall into commonplace formulas (which work pretty fine, btw) and clichés, but I'm striving to find a middle ground here, someplace in which both futanari and anthro elements come together smoothly. What would Epona feel like if she suddenly shifted from her usual form into this one? Would she be scared? Would she embrace it? "Who am I", she could ask herself, or, maybe, "What am I". That's the question I've been trying to answer, and I know that there's a limit beyond which she (or any other character) would become so inhuman that we'd inexorably stop relating to her (as a character, as a painting model, etc.). Maybe if her hands became hooves? Maybe if her body was covered with fur? Maybe if her face shifted beyond her horse ears? I'm trying to be extra careful not to break our visual experiences here.

For now, this is just a dream (or nightmare?) she had. Maybe she'll realize that she can become more like a horse during her waking life, which means that she's actually able to transform. Maybe this is just a fantasy, and nothing more. I don't want to get too metaphysical about this. I'm just exploring variations that may apply to each of our OCs (I'm working on a "mermaid" Tallulah, btw, half dolphin, half human, but still eager to show her gorgeous dolphin cock to her friends).

What do you guys think? =^________^=

Sounds very neat, I just hope you're looking up a lot of reference material.

A human face and torso are important to me- beyond that...I’ll be happy to see what you come up with. I love this sketch, for instance.

New Patreon glitch? Comments (temporarily?) mangled. Oh well...

I'm trying to vary the sizes of ears, tail, hooves, so that the best proportions balance one another. I've tried a thinner horse leg, with less fur, just like a regular horse's, but it didn't come out so well. There's plenty of room to get creative, but I'm using lots of reference photos, so that the anatomy looks right.

Thanks, Baron! I agree with you. So far, I don't think the face and torso should shift either. I'd say her arms and hands look better when they're human-like too.

Man, I was trying to comment hours ago, but Patreon went under maintenance. T_____T
