Congrats on finishing one of the longest visual novels there is. It was a good ride.

Yeah, congratulations for a fantastic playthrough! Regarding Battler escaping Rokkenjima and the confusion surrounding that, it is made clear in chapter 37 of the final episode of the manga “When the Seagulls Cry”. Maybe you can do something similar to your readthrough of Confession of the Golden Witch in conjunction with your final thoughts video where you read the final two chapters, 37 and 38 of the manga? But then again, episode 8 of the manga is very different compared to the VN so it is definitely worth checking out the whole thing. It could also be interesting to compare the manga to the VN on a reread when you are going back.
