I started watching wrestling like 25 years ago and when I saw Taker for the first time I knew that he was something different and special and I continued to watch him all the way until his retirement. I haven't watched wrestling for years but I always kept up what the Undertaker was doing, I was so invested in the character and ultimately the man behind the character that it felt important to see how and what he was doing. Him losing the streak felt like an insult to all the hard work and injuries he went through and what did breaking the streak achieve, nothing, less than nothing when considering what has come to light recently in WWE. I wanted the streak to be unbroken as an testament to him, his work and dedication for the business and for the fans. Definitely watch the wrestlemania 25 taker vs hbk, it probably is the best match of all time. Also Undertaker's last ride documentary is seriously good, it gives very good insight to what it took for him to get ready for wrestlemanias in the last stretch of his career and how he struggled to find the spot when he could say this is it. I think it is only available on the wwe network but it is worth it even if you watch it just for yourself.
