WWE finally finds a good guy for the first time in literally about 20 years who both the fans and the company want to be the face of the company, and just when he is possibly at his most popular ever, they do this?! I’m one of the rare hard-core fans who doesn’t care as much when legends come back for big matches, But Cody has carried this company on his back, he legitimately is the face of WWE, and from all accounts, he’s a great guy in real life. I think this warrants the 2014 treatment more than that situation actually did, because this story genuinely is better, and even though his pops aren’t as loud, I do genuinely believe fans like Cody more than they liked Daniel Bryan, because as loud as his crowd reactions were, he, and by the way I love Daniel Bryan, but he didn’t make a business impact in terms of increasing attendance and ratings, Cody actually does, this is ridiculous!
