There a lot of stuff in TLJ that made no sense or just pissed me off. Also, it's because of that movie that. mark Hamil said he is done with star wars.

TLJ threw away everything that was built up in TFA. Rey's parents turned out to be random drunks instead of a Skywalker or Kenobi. Snoke was a powerful shadowy figure who was set to come forth in TLJ and instead he was killed off like some generic bad guy with nothing said about who he was or what his past was. Luke Skywalker refused to kill Darth Vader despite knowing he was evil at the time because they were related but he tried to murder his nephew in his sleep because he thought he "might" turn bad? Then you have the ship that went to light speed and rammed another ship (before ships merely passed by/through each other during light speed, only large objects like stars and black holes could interact with ships at that speed). If that is now possible then you could just get some old super cheap ships, slap some droids in them to pilot and go to light speed and then you could take out all the warships in space at almost no cost. I could go on but lets just say TLJ destroyed the Star Wars franchise and leave it at that.
