Well most authors on RRL are just doing it as a hobby and have no interest in being an author full time so there isn't a reason to learn in the first place

I think you should update your video title to be top 5 earners on royal road legends or at least have the full website name in keywords of youtube

Doing this on mobile so easier to do multiple comments. I think one of the best monetization strategies is the early chapter release format. I know I picked up your story a month ago read all that was available and was enticed to become your patron because I would get to read some extra chapters. :) Having said that story quality is also a big factor. I have read a few hours of Ghosthound recently and i have to say the quality of A New World is way above Gosthound in general. So much so that i am not really enthused by reading the rest of Ghosthound especially since most of the reviews about it say it has gone downhill lately quality wise

Yeah, I can tell the constant releases are taking their toll on the story's quality. Sucks to see. I have a few strategies I use to prevent that kind of thing, and I'll probably make a video on it at some point.

You might have to add patreon-earners in your video-title. Book-sales and single-times-donations aren't taken into account (as you said yourself, you can't see those). The Gam3 has e-books to buy and e.g. Scottie Futch has a lot

I've never gotten even a single one time donation, and I imagine they aren't near the same prevalence as either sales or Patreon. The next video will be web novelists on RRL, meaning sales.
