Phew 120 edits took a while to load but we made it!
This Painted Lady shoot was so fun and laid back oh and SEXY AF ;p . I rented this studio for 4 hours. All the Painting and makeup happened at my house and then I just touched her up there. I wanted a lot of time to set up the lighting and have a good game plan, cause obviously once she starts getting wet there is no going back.
My inspiration for this shoot comes from a few different David Mann Paintings. I wanted it to feel like she got caught in the rain at sunset. The styling was classic biker babe. I wanted to keep it simple. Dave's Knucklehead was perfect for this. The colors were amazing. He said he's been caught in the rain riding this bike so many times it made this shoot even more perfect.
Aubrey is GORGEOUS. She flew in from South Carolina with that sweet accent and natural beauty. I'm so grateful to have her in the series. It was meant to be.
I actually only took like 2 film photos this shoot. I focused on digital since the lighting and rain movement was so challenging for film. I do have some polaroids an bts to share too!
