This one is extra important to me....

I dedicated this shoot to my good friend Philecia... one of my Painted Ladies (XII) and a terminal 4 breast cancer survivor. I was really happy to have Mackenzie model for this one. I love her fierce confidence and beauty she exudes. She was really grateful to be a part of this and to help raise some money for Philecia.

The light and location was so perfect. 

I actually had my mom in town from Pennsylvania. She had just gotten off a plane. My man picked her up and they drove to the shoot in San Pedro. I love being able to show her what I do and have her get to experience the art and energy. I felt really complete this day and it made me reflect a lot on all the women I have in my life and in this series. I was able to help raise awareness and raise a little money. It's not much but it's something. I'm grateful for the experiences and the people I've met since I started this series.
