Hello and good morning birbs! So here's the announcement I've been holding off on since I wanted to confirm some stuff first ~ 

I've been in discussion for a while with a publisher and we are coming to mobile! Previously, I had always rejected any publisher / VC deals because they wanted... -> (insert negative thoughts here, I don't want to throw people under the bus... yet). :( Let's say what we birbs want is not what third parties want...

If we were to make a mobile game, we would want it to be as advertisement / microtransaction free as financially possible. It has to keep the spirit of indie gaming in mind with the game first under any circumstance. That's something I wasn't willing to negotiate on. There's no point in making something that would upset people, so I always was cautious with making any deal with third parties. With that in mind though after a lot of discussions I believe we have come to an agreement for the mobile release, effective of this week, we've started mobile development of the game! 

It has been a very long journey for us to get here. It's taken three years of PC development (since March 2019) and by the time LSW PC comes to EA on Steam it would have been 4 years in total. I regularly want to faceplant myself on my keyboard because of the workload but thanks to you guys I've been able to keep sane on this journey. I feel like I have not communicated enough in recent months and have not done a live stream since forever (I keep saying this) because I just can't find the time!!! With that in mind I'm going to try my best to clean up the site and also push more detailed updates in the coming months ~ 

The mobile version of LSW will be quite similar to the PC version but with adjustments made of course! Certain features will be different and requires a slightly redesign but will keep the overall aesthetic of the PC version. I won't be adding too much detailed information yet, keep a look out on our website which will be updated significantly in the coming months to include a more detailed roadmap for PC as well as a page for mobile.

The most important thing I will say is that LSW Mobile has to be F2P.  I just don't believe that in 2022 (or 2023) you can make a premium mobile title and do well with it. The game will be supported with in-game purchases but with that in mind though, we will keep the pricing model to as fair as possible, we really don't want to make a mobile game similar to what already exists today (I personally think most mobile games are absolutely terrible with a few exceptions). Either way, there won't be any pre-order or presale etc etc for mobile. It'll be ready when it's ready... which by my estimation will be around Q3 2023!

None of this will affect the release time of the PC of LSW. If anything it'll speed it up because it means we can find more programmers to help with the PC version and allow a port of the PC version with changes. We are still planning a Q1 release of LSW PC on EA Steam.

EDIT: Nothing changes about the PC version if there's any confusion. It will never be f2p and will remain a premium title.

Does anyone else have an issue with being able to work after their first promotion? I am now level 2 in the kitchen, my days off changed and now I cant go to work again. Its like the buses don't know your days are different.

I can get the 32.4 game to work but the 33.4 wont load at all..looks good though! Using geforce 210
