Hi everyone and happy Friday!

Since the last patch with the furniture store there have been some bugs persisting here and there, which we have mostly fixed. Sorry about that ~ the build for next Friday (27/5/22 or maybe June 3 if we can't get it out by then) will have addressed most of those issues. It's taking a bit longer than expected and I'm super bummed out but that's what happens after a big patch and I think we need to be more realistic with timing in the future.

Right now we are working on some more quality of life improvements to the game as well as game economy. It's obvious that most of the items in the game is far too expensive and is not representative of the game we want. This is fine, though as they're relatively easy fixes and by next Friday we will have them all done. The update this week for you guys isn't as big as it usually is as as we updated Unity recently and it's caused a lot of new bugs. Not sure if it was worth the hassle but there's a new 2D renderer which is much better than the older experimental stuff so hopefully it'll pay off in the long term.

The current semi-final version of the electronics store is finished. It should be in the game by next week because then we can actually purchase and upgrade certain electronics. As you guys know if you've played the last patch, some items like the fridge and stove are not available. It'll be great to have different shops that split up the item choices as I've personally not been a huge fan of having one massive catalogue to teleport in all items in the game. The furniture purchasing experience is like half the fun!

We introduced some (or quite a few) new UI in the last patch. We aren't fully happy with it yet though since... hmm, I mean it looks okay but we really want to create our own unique style. The current items don't specify how much of an update the furniture will be of an upgrade so it makes it impossible to know if it's worth it (beyond higher cost).  Also, another indicator we need is to make it clear if the items are decorative or have a functional use. The ultimate 'plan' is to have all items be interactable at some point, but obviously, that's not completely feasible since there has to be some items which are just decorative for the most part.

Thanks for tuning in!

I like that the bed will give us energy like in the sims. That's a good move! TY
