New Map Phone App + More (Patreon)

Hi everyone ~

I hope you're all doing well! I'm here to update you all on the current and nearby plans for the future. We had originally planned on doing a patch for this week but it seems we were a bit ambitious and will be pushing that update for next week. While we finished everyone we wanted to do, we haven't had time to bugtest it and it wouldn't be good if... well if it's buggy :(

Next weeks patch will see improvements in:

- A new map app in the game, WIP art shown in this post. A lot of people were getting lost and as the map expands, it will become harder and harder to navigate the game without it. We will also be including opening and closing times for the shops in the information too.

- Additional improvements to furniture placement as there's a lot of ambiguity where chairs and computers need to go on the desk for the animations to function.

- A bunch of bug fixes on the traffic system so cars don't clip and stop us from arriving to and from work. 

- A new database import system so we can more easily balance the game. Currently, game balance is not quite there yet and we plan on working on this asap. 

We are currently also remaking the build mode going forwards as since last year we had a free build mode which isn't really the plan going forwards. The whole point of going to work was to make money and purchase items!

In April we 'hope' to add (should be possible):

- A new DIY store for wallpapers and flooring, roofs etc.

- A new furniture store that allows everyone to purchase furniture.

- There are additional features we sort of plan to add but we are not 100% sure what will make it in time. Hopefully a new interest, as well as a furniture colouring system. 

This means effectivity we won't have a creative mode anymore for build. We might add that as an additional mode in the game menu, but we'll see about adding that in due course.
