Hello 2022! Gym and Advanced Lighting

Helloo, how is the year going so far?

First of all I want to thank everyone for such an amazing 2021. Last year had so many challenges, but having you all around showing us your love and support has made it all worth it. I can’t believe how great the community that grew around Little Sim World is, and I think I speak for everyone on the team when I say you are all incredible and the game would never be possible without you.

So with that said, let’s get our first News post from 2022 on the right track with some cool development updates!

🏋️‍♀️ Gym 🏋️‍♀️

As you have seen on our latest release, London is now bigger with our most recent map expansion featuring Bloom Sport’s Gym! If you are looking to get some gains or if you just want to get on with a more active lifestyle, this will be the place to do it now that we are making our equipment fully functional, provided you purchase a Gym Subscription. That said, because the exercise interactions and animations are all very unique it will take a lot of work to put every equipment together and ready for use, so please look forward to our machines' continued development throughout the next few updates!

Some special activities in the gym include (planned for the future, some coming asap):

- Drinking fountain to drink water from and collect water into a cup
- Treadmill to level your fitness level
- Bench press to level your physique
- Shower to... shower!
- Memberships you can purchase for your gains
- Locker to change outfits into a workout outfit for even more gains!

💡 Advanced Lighting 💡

I’m also currently spending some time looking for ways to improve our lighting system, hoping it will boost how the game feels as a whole. I have always wanted Little Sim World to provide a cozy environment to players, so that people could enjoy their time while interacting with the game. 

I feel like we had successfully done this when it comes to the characters and objects, so now I’m trying to reach the same vibe when it comes to our lighting as well. Below you can see one of our latest achievements when it comes to this, and you might have noticed it as well in our latest update, with a more detailed lighting effect coming through windows and doors. How cozy is that? 🥰

Once again I hope everyone had a great time moving into 2022, and I hope this year we have even more fun together developing the game. Close to the end of this year we hope to have all the basic features in the game delivered so it is a full experience. Of course we will keep updates coming and have no intention to slow down!
