Hi! How is everyone doing?

(I just realised these GIFs aren't working on mobile?) Is it working for you guys? 

Team Update:

Just a team update. Apologies for not talking about it much because for some weird reason I was assumed it wouldn't be very interesting for people. I think this assumption is an incorrect one lol so going forwards I'll be discussing what goes on behind the scenes with the team more often!

So just to get this one started, Michael, our programmer has recently left the team and will be working on something else and I'd like to take this chance to really thank him for his work. I’d like to welcome Jack into the team - he’ll be helping with programming from now on. He’ll be filling in for Michael now that he’s moved on to other projects and has been doing a really good job!

Gameplay Stuff:

Some updates on the next wellbeings I plan on adding to the game. Currently we’re working on bladder and hygiene wellbeings and they should be implemented in the next update. This marks quite a big milestone for us because it's getting easier to implement these features as the code behind this is all ready. This means the next game patch after we should be looking at foods and drinks as well.

The bladder wellbeing is going to need a toilet animation so characters can interact with toilets and relieve themselves, and a pants peeing animation when the bladder slider hits zero 😗.

While the hygiene wellbeing needs animations for showers and bathtubs. In the case of bathtubs, we’ve also come up with animations for the furniture themselves, since it didn’t feel right to make characters jump into empty bathtubs 🤔. Sorry just keep in mind this bath one is very WIP and not quite right at the moment, lol.

We are also adding a “smelly” effect when hygiene drops to zero, and some moods to other status further down the road.

Another addition to wellbeing is the bubble system. These bubbles will show up as a reminder every time one of your wellbeing starts getting too low, this way players won’t get caught by surprise when the slider hits zero. They will also be used during status recovery, so that players are aware of what’s currently happening in a more straightforward way.

When I playtested the game a very long time ago when there were no reminders, I'd end up passing out randomly because I didn't know my wellbeing was too low, lol. Hopefully, this will allow everyone to see what's needed very quickly as a reminder. When these popups appear, unlike the Sims, you won't lose control of your character during the reminder and I think this is a welcome addition!

GIFs work on mobile for me...I've not had issues on Android seeing GIFs. I'm so excited for Bladder and Hygiene to make it into the game next! Thank you for also allowing us to keep control of our character while also getting a visual queue that our character has low Wellbeing. I hate it in the Sims when the character does an unskippable animation instead of taking care of their low need.

I think the tubs filling up looks nice already and it's a great idea. I like the animation for toilet and shower, too. The bubbles are a nice idea, it's easy to forget to check needs for a while. If the character reminds you of their need, it's much better.

GIFs work on my phone. Cool shower and bathtub, but is there any chance that toilet seat will get smaller before added to the game? :( That one is... a monster, Imho too big...

Wow! The animation is cool. Gifs work on my phone too. We shower ,we don't have to wear cloth just in real life. If we get smelly there will be fly around our body. This is my idea. Thanks for reading. Thanks for hard work developments team. :)
