Hellloooo everyone!

This week we have been working hard on the character redesigns. I know we all loved the red haired boy but we think we can do much better as the art is way too flat! We are currently creating an automated body changer in Unity and this will allow the potential for weight gain/loss with various body shapes to pick from. In addition, we have been working on some eyes so we can also have different faces in the game. Remember this is all WIP so a lot of stuff will see incremental improvements over time. None of it is final!

In other news, the two artists Michel and Lucas have been working quite hard on the project and the progression is substantial compared to working with freelancers in the past. After the eyes and bodies are confirmed we can then go on to make a lot of different types of clothing for the characters. This process will probably take a while so expect around a month ~ that'll be all on Lucas! Michel will continue working on buildings and UIs ~

Houssem has been working hard on optimising the game as we want everyone to be able to play LSW well regardless of what computer you're using. The main issue with LSW is the map is quite big and the randomly generated NPC populates a fairly large portion of the game as of now. We wanted to make the traffic and NPC behaviour look real so this can take some toll on the CPU. Some good improvements were made and hopefully when the NPC behaviours are ready we can showcase this in a video. The ETA for a proper gameplay video is around 2 months from now! Just bare with us for a little longer!
