Hella hella ~ Terry here. I hope you've all had a wonderful week!

This week we reworked the skill UI, it is now being renamed to 'interests' instead (I think Patreon downscales the images bleh, but part of this UI will be posted on social media which won't downscale). I believe 'interests' represents the game much better! You can make some guesses as to what each interest stands for (there's the reasoning jigsaw that you all voted for, hopefully you'll be happy with it!), but they are in the same structure as the Discord Excel image we pasted a while back ~ in addition, the player is able to donate items to the British museum for achievement points that give unlocks in the game. The bars are the player's total level!

This work was done by our new artist. The new social media icons on Patreon and our website are also done by him, see if you can find them! We are on track to have two full time artists working with us starting Monday (13/7) so it'll make things go infinitely faster (we had just a part time artist before)! I will be introducing them to you guys once they have completed their internship phase ~ exciting! We will be focusing 100% of our time in improving the characters and buildings/UIs, as those aspects prevent us from releasing good videos that everyone wants! Screenshots are nice, but you know what's nicer? Videossss!

From the development side, see our Trello board image. This is just for the features section but there is also a second board of bug fixes that's probably less interesting ~ the main focus this week has been the masking system for buildings. When the player enters buildings, the front wall will now partially fade away so it won't block the furniture. Otherwise, how do we fully see objects behind walls sadface :( 

We have also added feedback for mouse clicks on the ground so when the player interacts with ground tiles, they will always know where they are going. A final cool thing is we finally added a system for SFX effects into the UI so they will be much more vibrant and robust. We had to jump over some hoops in Unity since it's not a straightforward feature to add, as the recently update to 2010.1 is Unity's newest version and we are still getting to grips with all the new features! Don't worry, these new additions will be showcased soon with videos, we just want it to be bug free and awesome before showing you guys! 

Oh, I did say I would try and get the grocery store out, but I think we need a bit more time for that ~ but I did say it would take a bit longer! I have not forgotten!

In addition, I am planning better structure for these updates as I don't want them to be completely random. From now on, I will try my best to keep all major updates to 4:00 PM BST (GMT + 1) on Patreon. There may still be unscheduled updates in the middle of the week, though!

Also, I plan to have some gaming sessions with you guys as promised in the pledge, it would be great to get to know everyone a little bit. You're all free to join or watch. I'll be announcing what games we will be playing, so keep your eye out for that ~ it'll be fun!
