Hey everyone!

Just to let you know, the channel hit 50k subs the other day and I couldn't be happier. Seriously, just over a year ago I had just hit 1000. Getting 50 times that in a year is absolutely WILD to me. This channel has completely changed my life and your support has given me such purpose that it's hard for me to really explain. You've helped me through so many rough periods over the last year, either directly or just by being here. That means so much to me and hey, if we're ever in the same place, I'll buy you a beer or something.

I'll also be making a video to celebrate and was perhaps going to do a Q&A as part of it. Figured I'd open it up to you guys - is there anything you want me to answer for you relating to gaming, music, art in general, more personal stuff, etc.? Ask away in the comments and if there are enough to feature in a video then I'll definitely make that happen (if not then I'll be sure to answer them here anyway :D).

Anyway, thanks so much again for your continued support. It means the world to me. Also, work is continuing on the new episode of the show, so that'll be up by the end of this week...

which one video game character do you most identify with (and why)?

What is your favourite genre or type of game and why? What was your favourite when you were a kid? And lastly, if there is any difference between the two, what changed in your perspective on what it means to play a game since you were younger?

Sorry it took me so long to get around to this and sorry it didn't make the video! Interesting question - I rarely find myself identifying with characters now that I think about it. I guess the closest I could say would be Vito Scaletta from Mafia II. That game is incredibly grounded in general, but Vito's situation of just having to work his ass off to survive, finding himself having to wrangle out of difficult situations that just... arise and not having a lot to show for it, I could see myself in that at certain points in my life. Aside from that, the characters in my favourite games (Killer7, Metal Gear Solid 2, etc.) all tend to be so distant from reality that it's hard to see any traits I actually share with them. Thanks for the question and your support!
