I think the logic is that they wanted to keep parity with the younger ones and the more seasoned ones. It is good to see that there really wasn't a filler queen.

Conspiracy theory: the only reason Kate got eliminated was because production thought they would do a great job next week and production didn’t want to get rid of Tomara or Michael next week. ( Yes I think Dede will be in the bottom.)
