The French girls brought some elements to Drag Race that Do Not get play on American TV. There is one episode where Grande Dame I believe dresses as a condom and "cums" on stage. It was so French, and it blew my mind. Drag Queens making strong statements about safer sex. How novel (on TV at least). The French girls were also VERY GOOD SISTERS. They actually care about one another, and applaud eachother on, and are touched by eachothers drag. There are also Drag Kings introduced right off the bat, along with (obviously) bearded queens Big Birtha is still around in the most recent episode I watched... I was sure he was cannon fodder... not to be confused with me not liking him, I think he is great and brings something unique to the stage and the community. Diversity is awesome. It is worth the watch. It is much more common in Drag Race France for the girls who get the boot to actually make a statement before they walk out, which is pretty awesome, and there statements have almost always been really positive, grateful and thankful. Drag Race France is obviously young, but they have a ton of things going for them that would be excellent to bring back to other Drag Races. Actually the condom dress was the 2nd orgasm on stage, Big Birtha did an interesting ship homage with 70 litres of water I believe. Crazy.

Another cool look was the croissant outfit. very cute, very French. It's like Snatch game... your character needs to be funny, even to people who don't get the reference. There may be a few things that are just "duh" any French person would know the reference, but I think a similar bar can be applied. I know I missed a few references, but that doesn't slow me down from critiquing and/or enjoying the execution of the looks.
