Pangina and Blu both had intelligent looks that represent English colonization and repression and how each of them representing their respective cultures are reclaiming these traumatic histories. So, for those criticizing Pangina, sure perhaps it has been done in similar fashion, however, Pangina incorporated Thailand into it and made a very interesting historical reference as well as reclaiming the culture. Tbh, I loved all the looks. Lemon’s was a showstopper and she represented the Canadian flag amazingly, I love Jimbo’s. creative humor that is drawn from historical theatrical techniques dating back to the medeval period (so intelligent) and folkloric, Mo is inspiring and I loved her super-hero themes, Juju gave us a classic classy drag gown (perhaps not showstopping but after seeing one of her interviews, I totally see where she’s coming from and commiserate), Baga is also inspiring and fun and like she said on the runway, her goal is to cheer people up. I find Baga to have a proundly caring soul - to be in her circle of friends is to be truly lucky. Jackie Jané is sooo Dutch and she is truly metamorphic, and Cheryl is lovely and fun and truly has taken her drag to a new level. There is something about each of them that I appreciate and love about their drag. I do not envy anyone who had to eliminate and judge because I can’t really decide 🤪
