Despite not necessarily being qualified to judge the show in season 1, I was looking forward to his redemption arc on season 2. I think he is a good person in his heart and ultimately was not properly prepared or guided by the show. Plus, his growth could have been a really positive message for the show.

I think the other huge issue the show had was not having a voice of truth, which is typically Ru's. What do you think about his exit? I may include this topic in a future video and may use your responses in the video as well to spark discussion.

I interviewed him last year for a horror movie he starred in and he was one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I've ever spoken to. I personally believe production was the problem and I'm disappointed he won't be back.

I’m sure there are many reasons for JBC’s exit from DRC, but he’s starring in the new Doogie series on Disney Plus, so good for him.

He really seemed like one of the nicest guys ever on his podcast. I'll miss him on the show, and will sorely miss his catch up with the queens -- he did great. I suspect playing the role of the "sassy one" on the show was a choice he now regrets. I wish him all the luck in the world and am disappointed that he got run out of Drag Town like he did.
