Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and as you know I pride myself on how I end videos. Well, I think today's video has maybe one of the most unpredictable endings I've ever written. Enjoy!

At a time when inflation's hit everyone, even things like being asked to donate at the grocery store checkout for actual causes can be annoying. SO you can only imagine what would happen if a CELEBRITY asked for money for, oh... I don't know... her son to go to the Baseball Hall of Fame? Yes, Alyssa Milano did just that, and the Internet let her know how they felt. Buckley looks at the backlash, AND where the Internet mob went too far.

Alyssa Milano: Celebrity Charity Case (Extra Dose)

I feel there are too many assumptions here. Yes, she can pay for her kids, but reality is that it can look bad for the other parents if she funds the whole team. I'm guessing that's what she means by "I just can't do that". I'm not famous, but my wife and I are very well off, and there is something to be said for how other people look at you, if you pay for something, and all the intention was, was to be kind. She paid for her kids, uniforms etc. She did her pert. Now while we can speculate about what the team is and where she lives, reality is that we don't know. And just because it's not an innercity team with massive social issues, does that not mean that her kid does not have normal friends and has joined a normal team. There is actually a chance she wanted her kid to join a regular team, because she knows about the issues associated with kids and fame. When people respond like some people have done online without actually knowing, I can't help but agreeing with Cartman a bit. "Pour people suck sometimes"

Dammit Buckley! Out here shilling for an extra buck when you're worth $5M!? The shame! The ignominy! (I was surprised to find I had used that correctly here when I looked it up.) The first question I had was "How much did she already pay?" Feels like a weird thing for those people to be upset about though. If they don't want to contribute, they don't have to. Lots of people get a very real thrill from donating for something like that, let them have it.

Oh sure, but I think my point anyway was "parents should pay for this" anyway. Regardless of cost, if you're on a "travel Baseball team", that's the parents' responsibility. Even if they weren't celebs, starting a GoFundMe for this is annoying to me. If you can't afford to pay for your kids to do that kind of thing, sign 'em up for house league/rec league sports. It's much cheaper and they still get to play without trying to make it everyone else's responsibility. And I think it's just a little greasy to be a celebrity and pretend "Oh I'm just doing what any normal parent would do" when no "normal parents" have 3 million followers on any social media platforms. That and using a different last name seemed a little suspect.

With regards to the "very real thrill", I don't know... that reminds me of, I think the "Riotin' Realtor", who claimed she "didn't need the money" and that she was basically just "giving people a chance to give to a cause" because God likes that sort of thing. As if there aren't much better causes that, presumably, God, if He existed, would prefer people give to.

That ending was diabolical. And I fucking loved it.
