It's Friday and it's time for you to get first crack at the weekend video! The last couple videos have discussed more serious topics (the Joe Rogan Spotify controversy and the Freedom Convoy) so this week I thought I'd lighten things up with a video about celebrity culture and its effects on the mind. Apparently, some scientists tried to figure out if people who worship celebrities are smarter or dumber than the average person... I'll give you three guesses as to which one they landed on!

We've all seen obsessed fans on Twitter, on TikTok, maybe in real life, and thought "well there's something off about these people, right?" Well, turns out there actually is! Buckley looks at a scientific study that proves "stans", or megafans of celebrities, are actually dumber than people who just enjoy things like a normal person!
