It's funny she says her son failed. No, she failed her son. Then yes he has been the father for eight years. But now finds out he is not. I'm sure he it torn inside. He needs time to settle down with this news he just found out. The whole situation is very sad.

The audacity to call him the babydaddy.

Terrible situation for her son, but at the end of the day, he’s her son and not his. Expecting a man to support a child after finding out he’s not even his is insane. If he decided to do so, good on him, but in no reality should it be expected, but that’s just my opinion, and really, it ain’t worth jack squat.

So this is kinda fucked all 'round and honestly when parents act like this the real victims end up being the children. My $0.02: the mother is scummy from the start. Anyone can do the 9 month math, she knew from the start that he may not be the biological father and thus she carries the most blame for 1. Demanding money (EVEN DEMANDING MORE WHEN HE WAS PROMOTED) for a child for which she knows may have a different father and 2. Pushing the narrative for the child to believe this man is his biological father. The man however as controversial as this may seem shouldn't have outright bailed on the child. yes, EMPHATICALLY YES, he shouldn't be expected to be FINANCIALLY responsible for the child (and in all honesty it could very easily be argued that this is paternity fraud) but 8 years old? I'd personally be interested in staying in the kids life as just because the mother is scummy doesnt mean the child should take that kind of hit
