Check out the band Ulver. Every album is very different. They play with genres they like until they've mastered them then move on. It's usually a one and done process. Assassination of Julius Ceasar, Blood Inside, Shadows of the Sun (if you like it sad sometimes) and my personal favorite Nathan's Madrigal is one of the best black metal albums ever written.
