My thoughts will be unpopular, but I believe if a man does not want the baby, they should have the right to say No thank you. as long as it is known that they will never have a second chance. To many, ladies are cruel to men in the process of child growth. And I could go into more depth, but that is my unpopular opinion.

In theory I can live with this, with a couple caveats. Firstly, the mother shouldn't be "informed early in the pregnancy", she needs to know this BEFORE THEY HAVE SEX. That way, she knows from the very word "go" where he stands should she get knocked up. Second, I would be concerned something like this would be enforceable by law, and then if it were, how would state lines factor in? Say I had a one night stand in Tennessee. If I signed on for one of those in Texas (not where I live) and she lives in Memphis, would there be reciprocity? Third, the way it's phrased "give up all privileges and responsibilities" sounds great in theory, but we ALL know how wannabe baby mamas are where the daddies are concerned: it's all about HER choice and he doesn't get one at all, other than whether he's going to protest "living up to his responsibility". If it's mutually understood that, by signing on for one of these paper abortions, he has ZERO RESPONSIBILITY to her or that kid, she has ZERO GROUNDS to pursue any kind of child support from him at all, and this clause is enforceable by law, then yes I would support that. Otherwise there are two things we as a society could do to immediately cut down on the single mother statistics. The first is to ban any and all child support if the parents weren't already married when the child was conceived. The second is mandatory DNA testing upon every live birth. Put any one of these into action, much less both of them, and I guarantee the single mom statistics would absolutely crater off. For the record, I have no children, I decided at 13 I didn't want any, I got a vasectomy at 26, I'll be 49 later this month and it was one of the BEST decisions I ever made.
